Asterisk updates in Repo

Will doing the upgrade through the package manager break oslec or zaptel in any way?

Shouldn't as this is all recompiled from our sources. If you are asking me if there are any NEW bugs that have been introduced....you never know. If you dont need an upgrade I don't recommend doing it just for the same of having the latest code. The old saying "if it works, don't fix it" applies very well to production phone systems.

Kerry, The current repo versions of wanpipe are incompatible with the zaptel update. Any idea when you'll release new wanpipe-util and wanpipe-modules so Sangoma hardware users can take advantage of these updates? Thanks for all your efforts!

will asterisk 1.2.29 be added? or is there no support anymore on that?
any instructions yet to upgrade from 1.2 to 1.4 (let it "untrix" the box - not a big deal for me)?

Rhino's 2.2.5.3 package has been tested against zaptel 1.4.10

If you are using rhino with 1.4.7.1 and plan on upgrading do the following

yum remove rhino-$(uname -r)

Update your zaptel etc

yum install rhino-util

setup-rhino

your config files should be ok if this is an upgrade

thank god you guys removed the ajax crap from asterisk info. I think that was horrible move, although it was neat, always made me click everytime i wantted to veiw everything.
