This is the release version of 2.6 release. If you are running 2.6.0.0 or below, then we recommend doing a clean install and migrating your settings over. This will be the core that all releases throughout 2008 will be based on.

This version is made for use with the VMWare workstation or player and is provided as a means to get a testing or develop server up and running quickly. Due to numerous timing issues under virtual machines, you should not attempt to use this as a production system. The image is designed to work with the free versions of the player package. It will also work well with Workstation 6 or current versions of Server. If you have older versions simply create your own session using the ISO image.

As trixbox CE is licensed under the GPL 2.0, modified source code and RPMS can be downloaded from our repository at http://yum.trixbox.org/centos/
