No Fax Tone

Hi,
I have a problem with fax handling,
I´ve tried to configure fax to mail, first using integrated trixbox feature, and also with IAXmodem and hylafax, but in both cases, when i dial th fax extension, it doesnt give me a Fax Tone, it just makes about 4 intervals of 3 bips each and the it hangs. It seems like nobody is having these problem because i havent found anything. I dont know how to make that extension to gives a fax tone so an extandar fax machine can recognize it and send the fax.
Please if any body have a good step by step tutorial, for newbies it could be greate.
I`m using trixbox 2.6.0.7, sendmail is working fine, i have mu box connected directly to internet with a public ip.
Also, does the indications.conf influence in the fax tone??

This is how I got it to work.
On the inbound route for that extension under the Fax Handling section set it up like this:
FaxExtension: FreePBX default
FaxEmail: youremail@yourdomain.com
FaxDetection Type: NVFax
Pause After Answer: 3
Also in the General Settings section of FreePBX, add these settings under Fax Machine:
Extension of fax machine for receiving faxes: system
Email address to have faxes emailed to: youremail@yourdomain.com
Email address that faxes appear to come from: whatever@yourdomain.com
Fax tone when the extension answers

When you use the standard Fax detect on the extension or inbound route it does just like the name says, it tries to detect if the calling party is a fax. If you want the system to act like a normal fax (i.e. fax tone upon answer), you will need to setup a misc destination
Misc Destination
Description: SystemFax
Dial: select Dial System Fax from the pull down
Then in Inbound Routes
Setup your DID
Leave the Fax Detect set to freePBX Default / NVFax
Under Set Destination select the Misc Destination you created.
The only problem with this setup is that you can only send faxes to the email on the General Settings tab.
If anyone knows a better way I would love to hear it (without using IAXModem & Hylafax)

I tried that, it seems to work alright, it sounds a fax tone, and the fax machine starts to send, but when the transmission is over is like ther is not a received signal, and fax machine print an error saying connection problem, and the fax never arrived, have anyone had this problem??
