Call Recording and the Asterisk Phonebook module

Can anyone please help resolve an issue with Call Recording not working when dialing out using speed dial numbers in the Asterisk Phonebook module. Trixbox 2.2
When calls are dialed normally, call recording works fine. As soon as I dial using a speed dial from the Asterisk Phonebook the call recording does not start.
