Cisco 7940 Message Waiting Light

Does anyone know how to get the message waiting light to stutter / blink with the SCCP firmware the option
mwilamp = blink
mwioncall = on
doesn't work but from looking at some sample configs the options are
mwilamp = on ; Set the MWI lamp style when MWI active to on, off, wink, flash or blink
