Default Gateway setting reset after reboot

Whenever the default gateway is changed in trixbox, it is resetting to the original value after a restart.

ie.
When the system was installed the default gateway was set to 10.0.0.5, later this was changed to 10.0.0.201 via the trixbox web interface. When the system restarts, the default gateway changes back to 10.0.0.5.

Has anyone else come accross this problem, or know of a way to change the default gateway and make it stick?

Default Gateway setting reset after reboot

I've had the same issue here, It always resets to the original default gateway after a reboot. I've got two interfaces and If I look at /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 I put the correct gateway "GATEWAY=192.168.8.254", Also I've removed the gateway entry in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth1, this was the one I don't want. After a reboot the gateway came up correct.

Cheers

The correct location for the

The correct location for the default gateway (in Red Hat derived systems) is in /etc/sysconfig/network and not in the /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth* files.
