Dial options not working with Digital Receptionist or IVR in FreePBX

Anyone experienced a problem with Dial options not working with Digital Receptionist or IVR in FreePBX? I am unable to enter any options using any landline phone as well as a cell phone.

Is there a way adjust the DTMF tones coming through on a Zaptel card? I am using a DIGIUM WILDCARD X100P FXO PCI CARD. The incoming SIP line from telesip seems to work fine with any options pressed at Digital Receptionist prompt.

From searching on google, I found this link as others are having this issue too: http://www.aussievoip.com/wiki/index.php?page=freePBX-IVR

Thanks to all for any assistance. I need to get this fixed asap.

I'm having the same issue. With trixbox 1.2.3 with freePBX 2.2 rc3.
i have an announcment saying "press 9 to leave a voicemail or hold on the line for an agent"
When i press 9 the call is hung up.

-- Executing Set("SIP/8203-b78056a8", "VMGAIN=") in new stack
-- Executing GotoIf("SIP/8203-b78056a8", "0?s-DIRECTDIAL|1") in new stack
-- Executing NoOp("SIP/8203-b78056a8", "CAME FROM: 8299 - Blocking VM cause of key: ") in new stack
-- Executing Hangup("SIP/8203-b78056a8", "") in new stack
== Spawn extension (ext-local, *216, 2) exited non-zero on 'SIP/8203-b78056a8'

Can't figure it out!

Re: Dial options not working with Digital Receptionist or IVR in

I'm running the following setup

Trixbox Version: 1.2.3
freePBX 2.2.0rc1
Sangoma 4 port FXO card
Serveral outgoing IAX/SIP trunks
1 Incoming SIP Trunk

My setup has been running fine for about 6weeks without any problems. I don't remember changing anything but now callers are randomly directed by the IVR. It might be a cell phone DTMF issue which would make it seem like its random because every other call is from a cell phone. I had to disable the IVR because it was driving everyone nuts. Callers enter an extension and then the IVR sends them to an extension that they didnt enter.

Example I call in using an external line. When the IVR answers I hit 103 and instead I get directed to 100. The IVR is set for "1" and "0" alone to be directed to a ring group. So the IVR is not picking up one of the digits and not getting the others. The only way to get to extension 100 in my system is to enter 100 or "2".

I'm not even sure where to go with this one... Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
J.

I think many of these issues are resolved in freepbx 2.2 final.

Re: Dial options not working with Digital Receptionist or IVR in

I did a major upgrade last night and I'm now running the following:
Trixbox Version: 2.0.0
freePBX 2.2.0
Sangoma 4 port FXO card
Serveral outgoing IAX/SIP trunks
2 Incoming SIP Trunks
GSM on all outgoing and Incoming trunks

Everything works great except for this issue and a IAX problem. All SIP trunks work great.

I'm still having the same IVR issues. Whats even more strange is that the IVR call routing works fine in the morning and by the afternoon the routing is random. I had the IVR random routing with my inbound Vitelity Sip trunk yesterday and the same issues today with my inbound VoipStreet Sip Trunk.

As for the patch in the previous post, thats way above my head.

Something more random. Under the System info page in trixbox I have the following error listed "common_functions.php 314 file_exists(/proc/scsi/scsi) the file does not exist on your machine".

Re: Dial options not working with Digital Receptionist or IVR in

I updated to the FreePBX 2.2 last night per the instructions on the FreePBX website http://www.freepbx.org. I have not rebooted or done anything else like restart the asterisk service yet as I left the download running while I went to bed. I called into the server today through PSTN line and to my surprise, it seems to be working through PSTN line!

Not sure what was updated in the FreePBX 2.2 but for now it seems to have fixed my DTMF tone issue with cellular (CDMA) phones.

It would be nice to have a completely stable Asterisk/Trixbox system.

BTY, I am running Trixbox version 1.2 on a P4 2.7g server with 1 gig ram and raid 1 mirror.

Best of luck to everyone else having this same issue!

Re: Dial options not working with Digital Receptionist or IVR in

Well just noticed another issue....

it seems that Trixbox will only accept dial tones from a CDMA cellular phone after an initial call. The initial call seems to "wake it up" or something of that nature and then and only then, are the dial tones able to be passed from the cellular phone.

I guess I have to make a call to my Trixbox system early every morning in order for my IVR to work for the day.

Anyone else seem to be experiencing this issue.

Hi everyone, I'm having the

Hi everyone,

I'm having the same problem, When calling from outside using the Zaptel Trunk I can reach the IVR but can't dial the IVR options using the GSM cellular phone, but with CDMA cellular phone it works as "Catoe" posted it! I think that this has something to do with DTMF.

So,how I can get the GSM cellular phone working with the IVR is still a mystery to me.
The other problem I'm having even with CDMA cellular phone is that instead of going straight to the IVR when I call, it first rings for a few seconds and then the IVR announcements are heard.

I'm running:
Trixbox2.2.5
FreePBX 2.3.1.0
with a Sangoma A200-BRMD card.

And I'm happy to announce that the problem I had with installing/configuring the above mentioned card has been solved. I just had to install some Sangoma Trixbox modules and that was it, it worked .

Regards
