Did Call Recording ever work for you??

The advertized Call Recording feature codes *77 and *99 never worked for me. The only way to record calls is to enable call resodring "always" and look for the the WAV files in /var/spool/asterisk/monitor/. Not a good way to administer a PBX. Has anyone come up with a solution to start and stop recording from feature code then email the recorded file to the exnteion's email address?

On TB 1.2.3, we could record
Wed, 05/14/2008 - 4:06pm

On TB 1.2.3, we could record a call by pressing *1. It worked just fine for us.
