It's strange but I think that the latest upgrade of ubuntu show the fop in wrong way.
The *97 code still don't work.
Thanks for help (still don't arrive...)

The latest Flash Player 9.0.124.0 seems to have caused problem

I, too, am having problems with the flashing buttons on the FOP. It started happening immediately after I upgraded to the latest version of Flash Player. It was working fine before then. I had even made a webclip widget of the extensions, and that's flashing, too. I think the culprit is the latest version of Flash Player, 9.0.124.0. Was working fine before then.

I'm using a G4 Powerbook running OS X Leopard 10.5.2 in Firefox and Safari (latest versions).

Hopefully a fix can be found, soon! I can't seem to locate older versions of Flash Player on the Adobe website.

I've read many post on this

I've read many post on this problem: seem to be a Firefox+plugin flash
But the thing that I do not understand is that I installed the latest version of trixbox thinking to solve the problem of fop, and now I no longer have access to my Vocalbox by the *97 code
There is anyone who can help me?

Hi, is there any firewall

Hi,
is there any firewall installed on the server ? or do you have enabled the firewall ? check the firewall , before l do have the similar problem and later i figured out that the problem was of firewall dropping the packets of the fop port !!!!!

It's is definitely the

It's is definitely the Macromedia Flash update. I have a VMWare client image of SuSE10.3 and Window XP Pro. When I update the FLASH PLAYER, the problem appears on both Linux and Windows. When I revert the vmware images back to the previous flash version, it works again.

This is a known issue by FOP author

FOP author (asternic.org) knows of the issue: It is latest Flash version.

I upgraded FOP to latest version dated 2008-04-10

I upgraded FOP to latest version dated 2008-04-10 from asternic.org
Which apparently addresses the Flash issue.

The problem is that I also overwrote my op_server.cfg file. I have edited according to the documentation on asternic.org with no joy, can anyone advise what I need to do to get FOP to see my extensions etc.

thanks
Greg

I fixed on oour systems.

We use Debian & Ubuntu
for some users FOP worked. their plugin version is r48 .
the ones which did not work had version r124

solution:
aptitude purge flashplugin-nonfree

cp r48 version to each r124 user:

cp /home/rob/.mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so /home/~tasha/.mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so
chown tasha ~tasha/.mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so

Of course you need a copy of version r48 around.. Email me if you want a copy of the backup you gave me to store for you ;-)
