FOP Problems

Greetings all,

Running the crrent version of CE, having the flashing green-red buttons in the flash operator panel.

So I went over to the FOP website and downloaded the latest version that supposedly corrects the Flash problem. His instruction are to copy the op_server.pl file into the /html/panel folder, which I did, resetting the user and permissions properly.

I renamed the old one to .old and made sure I did an amportal stop command before copying.

Now when I do an amportal start I get the following message when it tries to start FOP.

Could not write configuration data UNUSED/variables.txt.
Check your file permissions

Any ideas? There are other posts on this issue but they kind of went no-where.

Got the same result too... I reverted back to the old op_server.pl and FOP started again, but still with the same issue of course.

Thanks Hasse, at least I know I am not the only one, I guess I should try and figure out how to report the bug on the FOP website.
