How to do Dial-by-name through IVR?

I read out some interesting features possibly done through IVR.

Like if I press some buttons, trixbox server will auto-read all the person's name to me, once I found that one I want to talk, press #, server will double confirm for me and dial automatically for me.

any one knows how to do this?

This si not built in, someone would need to write a script. This is a fairly obnoxious thing to do and it exposed your entire company directory to the caller. The company directory (# from the IVR) is a much better choice for most companies.
