How do I edit the zapata.conf file?
I just set up my first TB with a x100p card. I'm just using my home phone line to test this out. I can call between softphones (Xlite) with no problems. When I attempt to make an outgoing call it says it connects but I don't hear anything and the outgoing call does not go thru. I've been testing this on my cell phone. Also I setup inbound routes to my softphone and it rings but again no audio. I found several threads about changing a line in the zapata.conf file to 800 but I don't know how to edit that file. :)
Thanks,
Sander
You can do kerryg's suggestion (if you're linux savvy) or you can do it the easy way....
An easy way is to go to the trixbox admin screen and under the "Asterisk" drop down menu go to "Config Edit" then scroll down to zapata.conf. double click on zapata.conf, change what you need to change, hit update.
This will get it done so you can have your system operational. Then go back and do the nano thing so you can practice getting linux savvy. ; )
