Hi,

I think I am not the first one to have problems with integrated intel network interfaces.

The problem is happening for me every two days with one of my network interfaces (actually the one one which the I am doing VoIP) :

kernel:NETDEV WATCHDOG: eth1: transmit timed out
kernel:sky2 eth1: tx timeout
kernel: sky2 eth1: disabling interface
kernel: sky2 eth1: enabling interface
kernel: sky2 eth1: ram buffer 48K
kernel: sky2 eth1: Link is up at 100 Mbps, full duplex, flow control rx

from there the interface stops working and I have to reboot the server.

The problems happens on tribox 2.0 and 2.2 and 2.3.

The only workaround I found was to put a PCI card.

Any clue ?

sky2 problem

I have installed Tribox 2.2.9 and for some times it works perfectly... Now I'm having some problem (eth card freeze randomly) with sky2 network driver with Marvell 88E8062 network controller.
Can anyone help to me? Thanks for advice.

this is the problem of CentOs 4.5 and 4.6

this is the problem of CentOs 4.5 and 4.6

CentOS 5 dont have such an issue
So you need to upgrade trix al least to 2.4
2.6.0.7 works also perfectly

Sincerely
Kirill
