Making Allworx 9112 Phones work with Trixbox??

Hello all,

I recently came across some used AllWorx9112 VoIP phones that were being thrown out because the office couldn't make them behave like they wanted them too. Talk about ridiculous! Anyway, I picked up 5 of these and am curious as to whether these will work with a TrixBox PBX system???

I do know from my own experience with setting up Allworx systems that the 9112 phones need to have Bootp/boot server information programmed into them either statically or through a dhcp server. Then the phone contacts the server, downloading some files to make them work with user accounts on the AllWorx. However there is an Intel firmware chip on the phones motherboard that retains the Allworx OS for the phone.

In the past I"ve gotten Cisco phones to work with Trixbox, but I"m wondering if AllWorx is using a closed standard, or a proprietary format for the files the phone reads from the Allworx? Would one of those phones be able to have generic access to trixbox???
