Hi All, i'm really new in trixbox world and only made simple custom application for asterisk.

Now I have a challenge related to on-line call monitoring or on-line call supervision. We have a server with a cuad-digium E1 card with inbound routes that record all calls. I have seen some manuals about FOP and HUD-lite but I cannot conclude to an answer for this questions:

- with FOP, I can see zap trunk activity but, how can I listen on-line this zap calls?
- HUDlite seems to be great for sip extensions, not so for zap trunks?

And the other challenge is regarded to trixbox performance:
- How many on-line call supervisors can I have with trixbox? like call centre's supervisors listening the conversation during the call.

I'm really confused about this things and I apologize if this are stupid questions.

Best regards.

Some help here

Hi All,

Can someone help me here? We really need to have an approximation about how many supervisors trixbox can support connected at the same time supervising calls?

Best regards

Check in "Feature Code

Check in "Feature Code Admin". You can enable "ZapBarge" and then listen to the channel by dialing 888 and then the channel number.

Works fine for us. We are using TB 2.2.3

I do not think that you can listen to a call with HUDLite anymore. We used to be able to do it with TB 1.2.3

Feature Code Admin

Thank you for answer Jhonnyd!

This are great news, and is a good beginning.

Do you know how many users can use this ZapBarge functionality simultaneously with different calls?

Best regards.

To Asterisk is just two more

To Asterisk is just two more call legs. There is nothing inherent in he Zapbarge that introduces system overhead beyond that of a normal call.
