Not recognizing faxes

I have my trixbox set to receive faxes but it is not recognizing the tones. I changed the rxgain from 0.0 to 7.0 and watch the console as the system receives the fax call. playtone(ring) runs then nvfaxdetect(10) but then it goes to the extension and does not receive the fax. anyone have any suggestions?

I'm having the same problem with 1.1 using an authentic X100P over POTS with the gain cranked up. I have tried both NVFaxDetect and Zaptel detection methods. I noticed install-pdf command is not available in 1.1 - I think the faxing is broken by default. Everything else is working as it should be, so far - even SMP. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
