Permanent conference room access from outside

Ok I have several conference rooms defined and we can get to them just by dialing the number from the inside just fine. But I need this same access when somebody from the outside dials the auto attendent. I don't want to have people have to learn commands to create rooms or enable rooms on the fly. They just need to be there.
So when they call us and dial 540 It then prompts them for password,etc. Currently I get the "That is not a valid extension" message which is what is happening currently.
What am I missing?

You could use a hidden option in the IVR... Please press 1 for Sales, 2 for Technical Support, etc. If someone press 9 (not announced in IVR) it will point to the Conference Room. I also use 2 digit options. So you could set up a conference as 90, 91, 92..... and have the hidden option be 90, 91, 92... Each one of them pointing to difference conference rooms.
