Problems installing a VoiSmart vGSM-II

Good afternoon
I´m trying to install a VoiSmart vGSM-II card, under trixbox 2.2.4, but i can't figure out how to make the card work.
I´m following the tutorial located in http://repo.visdn.org/bazaar/vstuff-devel?cmd=content;path=INSTAL...
but when we do the final reboot the system goes in kernel panic.
Any one have any idea of what might be causing this, or someone that already have installed this card under Trixbox that can give us a help?

Install vgsm2 and vgsm4

I am planning to install in the next month two new trixbox PBXs with a vgsm card inside.
I have read the documentation and saw that I must recompile the kernel from source.
I know that source code is not disponible for trixbox, so, how can I do the installation?
If I have success in compiling the kernel with voismart drivers, than I will not be able to do yum updates?
In your previous message you say that you cannot make outbound calls. It means that you can receive calls?

Goo morning,
As a told you before we have some problems making calls but no problems receiving or sending sms.
We use CentOS 4.5 with trixbox and we not make any compilation of the kernel.
We follow the howto in http://repo.visdn.org/bazaar/vstuff-devel?cmd=content;path=INSTAL...
with some modifications:
after you do modprobe ks_userport you must do a modprobe vgsm2.
after this verify the permissions in /dev.... the devices created must have a "660" rights and root:asterisk as owner and group.
After this edit the vgsm.conf in /etc/asterisk and this must do the trick.
ps. don't forget to use the old_udev rules in /etc/udev/rules.d

In the next days I will receive the card from my supplier and I will try to make it to work.
I hope there is a way to make and receive calls with vGSMII card. Othervise I have to replace the card with an other kind of gsm gateway.
Please tell me if you succeded in making and receiving calls with this gsm PCI card.
