Random Trixbox Freezing - ARI Full?

Hi,

We have a Trixbox system which has been running fine for a couple of months now - it's recently started freezing once a day.

I can login to the SSH port and can see incoming calls coming in on the Woomera channel. ( we have a Sangoma A500 BRI Card)

The calling party hears nothing - no ring is generated.

Running a sip show peers shows no sip peers connected. The SIP devices are trying to connect but Asterisk does not show anything.

Running an amportal restart says that there is no such command as stop gracefully (Sorry, that's from memory but it's like that. I'm in a flap trying to get it up quick so didn't pay much attention to the exact message).

I have to run an asterisk kill followed by an amportal restart to get the system back on.

We use call recording on the system and I'm concerned that this could possibly be the issue as we handle quite a high volume of calls (about 7-10,000) a day.

All of these are archived off to a Windows machine overnight but I guess the ARI entries are left behind in the MySQL db - would these cause any problems?

If you need any log files or anything then please let me know.

Many Thanks All,
Adam

Had the same behavior.

Had the same behavior. Asterisk still process existing channels but doesn't create new ones.
To return asterisk to work need to run amportal stop, service asterisk stop, amportal start
I just returned to asterisk 1.2 and now it works without problem
