Reboot disables OpenVox D410P - TE410P

I was using Trixbox with Asterisk 1.2 and an OpenVox D410P (4 T1s) which appears as a Wildcard TE410P. I could type REBOOT and the system would reboot, restart the card and everything worked great.
Now with trixbox CE v2.4 and Asterisk 1.4 when I do a REBOOT or Shutdown -r the lights on the T1 ports don't light up and the card won't work. No sign of failure shows up on the console. If I shutdown -h, power off and back on the card works fine.
Any ideas?
