Stay on the line goto operator

We have our main greeting and company directory set up etc, but sometimes, some people will just wait on the line, can we make it so if someone does not press an option, they are directed to the operator extension automatically after a certain period of time?

Are you using IVR with your Main Greeting? If so use " t " as an option and set it to your operator; then after the timeout has exceeded the system will transfer them to the operator. In the IVR, t=timeout and i=incorrect extension.
