This morning, I shut off my Trixbox server (Ver 1.x, I think) to move it. (I probably should have logged it out first!). When I brought it back up, it now gave me a "GRUB Loading Stage2..." and then brings me to a GNU GRUB 0.95 screen along with a GRUB prompt.

Note: I did not add/remove any hardware or software. I just shut it off and brought it back up. I do not want to re-install.

Anyone have any ideas? Any help is GREATLY appreciated!!

Hardware

BTW: Other than a Sangoma card and 4 FXO cards, there is no special hardware in this setup. (No RAID hardware). It's just a standard Dell PC (Optiplex GX270) with an 80GB IDE HDD.

Sounds like something got

Sounds like something got wiped out or the MBR got hosed. you wouldn't have noticed this until a reboot as 80% of what happens happens in memory and once files are loaded they are not touched until you re load them. You may be able to use a live CD and back up or google restore MBR but there is about a 60%± you will need a re-install

Partition Missing!

I downloaded trixbox CE 2.6.1 and ran the "linux rescue" utility. (Very Handy!). After performing a scan, it was not able to find the linux parition at all...Just gone...

That pretty much confirms what you just said about the Trix running in memory once it's up. Other reports I've read on the Internet indicate a bad hard drive.

Time for an upgrade to trixbox CE 2.6.1.....

Thanks for the help.
