TDM800 Wild card incoming calls from PSTN lines
I can not use the voice mail future because all incoming calls from PSTN keep the zaptel channels they come in on open. If you leave a message and hang up the recording of the message just carries on.
The system can not see when the caller from outside hangs up, even when the inbound caller is at IVR. I had to put a hangup command into all IVR's to hang up calls from PSTN lines if no responce because the system can not see if those callers hang up.
Any advice ?
I had an issue with my lines not hanging up.
I checked with my telco (embarq) to see if they had disconnection supervision on (they didn't, but were willing to charge me extra for it.) So, I just added the config below.
Try editing your zapata.conf for this trunk group
add
busydetect=yes
busycount=5
See it that helps.
It will not disconnect the call immediately, but should eventually.
