Hope someone can help with this as i have been trying for over 2 weeks now and still can not get this to work. Also i am no good with linus really although have picked up a few things over the past 2 weeks.

we have just purchased an openvox b800p with softecho, unfortunately all the guides that are on openvox's website nor any other i have managed to find online will work. Some of these not working may be my fault to not knowing enough about linux to get certain parts to work.

I would be rather greatful if someone could help me with this.

My end result is to have this system connect to our Siemens PBX.

Thank you in advance

Ray

I thought we had most of the

I thought we had most of the OpenVox patches in but since they update us when they have something new we do not list most of their cards as being supported. You best bet is to do the following:

Download Asterisk and Zaptel source
Apply the OpenVox patches
Recompile all the source code

You may want to contact them

You may want to contact them and try to push them to get us patches so we can support their cards.

kerry, any chance of you contacting ZapMicro

Then hopefully the patches for the zma800p could be included as well - which would make my life a ton easier. They basically ignore my info requests.

I have a question about an OpenVox B100P

Hello,

I've been reading this thread and I would like to know if the current trixbox version has builtin support for the OpenVox B100P card (i.e. drivers, autoconfiguration, etc.). What I mean is, for example, if the card will be detected and autoconfigured during trixbox installation without needing to download and compile additional drivers or if I can easily add this card to a computer wich already has trixbox installed.

I'm newbie in both Linux and trixbox and I would prefer not to go very deep into compiling source code, because I still don't understad some linux concepts about compilation and specially making changes to the kernel, plus I have to configure a fully working production trixbox server in a few days.

Thanks.

OpenVox is also working with

OpenVox is also working with mISDN developer to integrage their drivers.
I think now all OpenVox B series cards, i.e B100P/B200P/B400P/B800P are already supported by mISDN.

That is to say, also supported by TrixBox?
