TrixBox RAID Tutorial
Hello,
What's the most important attribute of a computer-based PBX? If a drive or power supply fails, the business doesn't stay paralyzed until the problem is fixed. However, it seems to me that the TrxiBox RAID setup is not very well documented (apart from few unclear posts). It's very unpleasant when you set up TrixBox on a hardware RAID and find out that TrixBox detected the individual drives instead of the mirror. So my question is: would it possible to make a tutroial about RAID setup in TrixBox?
The problem is that the two drives were configured as RAID 1 in the hardware BIOS but TrixBox saw them as two separate drives. I install Windows Server on exatcly the same hardware and the OS detected the drives as one drive, so I'm wondering if there's anything involved in this setup. Is it possible to run sata-raid after the OS is already installed?
Current Setup:

How to install Software RAID on IDE?
There are very few systems supporting IDE anymore so we do not support this. It you want to do it used the advanced option and partition the disks yourself.
I have a cheap motherboard that has "hardware RAID" it works under windows but not Linux. This is "fake RAID" all the RAID is done in software under in the windows driver. Use linux software RAID your will get the same preformance or buy a real raid controller.
