Hello all!

New to trixbox so please be patient.

What are the options for connecting location A ( phone but no internet) to location B in order to use location B's internet access to gain use of long distance/VOIP. Both locations are in the same area code and prefix. I guess a modem would seem logical? Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank You!

no modem

Modem for what???

You could setup a DISA so that you call into the PBX and get dialtone to dial out.

DISA

Yes, DISA (Had to research that to find out what it was...) That is exactly what we want to do. And in this way no modem would be required. Thanks for the input. We are extremely new to trixbox/voip so it will take awhile to digest the "this strange new world"

Of course we would want to log these calls.
Definitely need to setup a pass code for that too..

Thank you for your imput,

fonehome.

logging and pinsets are 2

logging and pinsets are 2 features that you shouldnt have a problem finding trixbox/freepbx.
