hi
i installed again from the scratch, then tried to update the trixbox.
i am unable to perform trixbox-update.sh directly to update the trixbox so i extracted trixbox-1.0.2 and placed the files in the respective folders.
Then i ran rebuild_zaptel but it was giving the same error as before
like SETTING FILE PERMISSIONS
chown: failed to get attributes of `/var/run/asterisk': No such file or directory
chown: failed to get attributes of `/var/www/html/admin': No such file or directory
chmod: failed to get attributes of `/var/www/html/admin': No such file or directory
chown: failed to get attributes of `/var/www/html/recordings': No such file or directory
chmod: failed to get attributes of `/var/www/html/recordings': No such file or directory
chown: failed to get attributes of `/var/www/html/_asterisk': No such file or directory
chown: failed to get attributes of `/var/www/cgi-bin/vmail.cgi': No such file or directory
chmod: failed to get attributes of `/var/lib/asterisk/bin/*': No such file or directory
chmod: failed to get attributes of `/var/www/html/admin/bounce_op.sh': No such file or directory
chmod: failed to get attributes of `/var/www/cgi-bin/vmail.cgi': No such file or directory
chmod: failed to get attributes of `/var/www/html/panel/*.pl': No such file or directory
chmod: failed to get attributes of `/var/www/html/panel/safe_opserver': No such file or directory
Permissions OK

STARTING ASTERISK
Asterisk is already running

STARTING FOP SERVER
-bash: line 1: /var/www/html/panel/safe_opserver: No such file or directory
safe_opserver: no process killed

-----------------------------------------------------
The FOP's server (op_server.pl) could not start!
Please correct this problem
-----------------------------------------------------
Done.
----------------------------
anyway i logged into the gui and tried to c the asterisk's info: Output is like below:
Version
Unable to connect to remote asterisk (does /var/run/asterisk/asterisk.ctl exist?)

Uptime
Unable to connect to remote asterisk (does /var/run/asterisk/asterisk.ctl exist?)
..
...

I feel this is because under /var/run it was not able to create the folder "asterisk".
also /var/www/html/admin folder was not getting created.

Could you please help me out in this regard.

Re: 'var/run/asterisk': No such file or directory

Just post once ! Your install is broken. re-Download the ISO and boot from it.
