Ok so i got 4 sip trunks coming into my trixbox, as well as one zap trunk for my main number. I can recieve and make calls just fine, but if i receive a call on the zap trunk, and i get another call to same zap channel, line just rings and phones dont ring. I have maximum channels set to 2 on Zap trunk, but im still only able to have one channel open at a time.

Heres my Zapata.conf

[trixbox.mpcstudios.com asterisk]# cat zapata.conf

;faxdetect=outgoing
;faxdetect=no

;Include genzaptelconf configs

Anyone experience the same issue?

Your provider needs to put a

Your provider needs to put a "call forward on busy" feature on all your numbers. This is usually referred to Call Hunting or Call Rollover
There is no "flash" on zaptel to pick up other calls

That makes sense, but when

That makes sense, but when i had asterisknow deployed, i was able to have two calls come in to the same number. (but now that i think about it i had 4 pots lines coming in)

So person A would answer the call, a call would then be made to same number, and the call would go through hitting the ring group.

When i call the number while its in use, i dont get a busy, but phone just rings and rings. Is this still resolved by call hunting ?

Yes, use call hunting, that's the simplest way to do this
