South Florida Help?

Hey Magnointl - did you ever find someone here in Miami/Broward? I too am looking for some local help to optimize our remote trixbox configuration.

No, I did not. What kind of assistance do you need? I have a contact out of California, good guy, he helped me with my system.

Heck, I am thinking of getting certified and work South Florida ... there is no one out here :) Talk about a market open for the taking ... What exactly do you need to do?

You're absolutely correct. I sat in on the recent certification class at the VOIP show in Miami Beach [didn't get certified, because I'm an end user] but I agree that there's a market here.

Really, all I want to do is optimize the trixbox configurations. I have it working with our 10 - 20 Polycoms + Grandstreams, but there are so many different options and I simply don't have the time to review + learn them all, both on the trixbox and phones. This isn't my business.

In terms of a Trixbox/VOIP PBX shop here in Miami, all I've found is PC USA. Still patiently awaiting better service from them.

Maybe it's time to go into business.

Hey, I am not joking when I say that I intend to ... :-)

I am just waiting to clear some things off my desk, get things rolling and I will spend a great deal of time getting schooled with this trixbox/VoIP business.

Even if I do it as a part time ... Heck, if you and I have the same needs and ideas, we might want to hook up and see if we can work together on this ...

Regards,

Try Yugma for remote assistance

Need a Webex type solution then try Yugma you can record key strokes and works great for training purposes. This is a great solution for gaining temp control of a customers computer to access freepbx and show customer how to program and test their environment behind a firewall without asking the customer to know how to setup a DMZ. Saves money on travel.
