Hello all -

Running into a small issue and hoping someone can give me a shove in the right direction. My configuration:

Trixbox 2.6.2.3 running on an HP DL 360 G2 Dual 3.04 GHZ Procs 4GB RAM Dual 73GB HDD
Endpoints are predominantly Aastra 480i approximately 80 of them.
31 Bandwidth.com SIP Trunks.
Aastra-xml-scripts version 2.2.1-1

I am running the current version of the aastra-xml-scripts from the trixbox repository. They seem to work very well on my 480i phones with one major exception. The ACD Login/Logout. It works well when I select it and scroll through, pick my queue and select login and as long as I stay on that screen and select logout it will log me out as well. The problem comes when I navigate away from that screen back to the main screen and then try to go back in and select logout. At that point I am presented with a Page load error. At that point the only way I can log an agent out is to go into the CLI and remove them manually.

Also I just noticed recently that when I reboot a 480i it comes up with a screen mentioning that it requires firmware version 2.3.0 or something like than and I can select done and it will go away and the main screen will display and all will work as it should. I have tried the QueueNumber+* and QueueNumber +** for login and out with no luck. Have also changed to deviceanduser mode and tried *11 and *12...also no luck. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks -

A few thoughts - Are you

A few thoughts -

Are you using 480i's or 9480i's?
If only 480i's then the latest firmware is 1.4.3 and these phones have been discontinued.
I'm unsure whether the XML scripts will work correctly, or at least have all the features available if you are running these phones.

If 9480i's then you need to ensure you have the latest firmware, currently 2.5.2.1010
You can download the firmware from the aastratelecom.com site

To get more detail on what is happening, you may want to check your webserver logs and see which request is causing the error
take a look at /var/log/httpd/access_log and /var/log/httpd/error_log

RE: Aastra Scripts

Thank you for the reply. I have just started purchasing 9480i phones for all the new and replacements however I still have 90% that are 480i that I have to support until they die as they won't spend $$ to replace them. They were working up to a week or so ago and I do not remember updating any packages although it is possible I did or someone else did. Is there a way to continue to get these to work? I would have to believe that there are many people out there still running this model of phone, why discontinue it when it is still widely used?

I have checked the server logs and all I see are the 200 OK responses. I am not seeing errors at the server level only at the phone level. Suddenly after being able to provision them using the aastra-scripts and having all of the scripts working they are now coming up with the firmware issues and the Page error issues on the phones themselves. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks -
