Can anyone tell me how many SIP Extension can you have on TB CE.

And what size server would be required.

Has anyone installed a very large TB site ?

Cheers

There's no limit. Everything

There's no limit. Everything depends on the available ram.

I have done a 24 floor building with around 550 extensions. 3 trixboxes are being used for this.
Each are dell power edge 1900 with 2 GB ram, 80 GB hard drive, xeon processor, 3.20 GHz.

Not really any limit, it's

Not really any limit, it's more a matter of how many concurrent calls you might have at any one time, and thereby how much horsepower your server has. A new'ish, powerful server (Quad-Core Xeon, 4GB RAM) should easily be able to handle an office of 500+ staff and a hundred plus concurrent calls. A lot of it depends on codecs being used and a few other factors. But an extension just sitting there doesn't really affect much.

I am looking at a site with

I am looking at a site with approx 230 Extns

What would you suggest hardware wise, we will most likely have ISDN via SIP Trunk to an Epygi Box, not as a high traffic site as it is low cost acommodations, maybe 30 ISDN Lines

Can you suggest a server for this, and if multiple servers are required can you give me a basic explanation of how this goes together

any new server off the shelf

any new server off the shelf should really do for your purpose.

By new i mean brand new from eg. dell

Yeah, probably a newer Dell

Yeah, probably a newer Dell or HP should do the trick. I personally prefer HP. A DL360 G5 would do nicely, plus it's one of trixbox's 'platinum' supported servers. I don't think multiple servers would be necessary for this size.
