Hi,
My setup using Asterisk is very basic. I have inbound calls going to a time conditon, then IVR menu, then rings groups. What i want to be able to do is to forward all incoming calls to a mobile. What i've found at the moment is misc destinations. I have set one up with my mobile, I can then logon to the website and set incoming calls to go to that misc destination. this is ok for me as I'm the I.T guy but we have other people in the office that need to be able to do it by one of the phones. If they could just dial a number which forwards all calls to the mobile. If anybody has any ideas they would be greatful.

Cheers

Mark

Ques and Follow me

OK I think u are going about it wrong

Look at QUES and Follow me
To use a REMOTE phone you use the follow me and have the exten ring for X number of times and then hit the numbers in the followme list.

Follow Me

I've had a look at follow me and that is one for each individual extension. i need something so that one somebody calls in it goes straight the mobile.
I'm not quite sure what you mean about Ques. I have set one up and have not got very far, and dont see how i can use them to forward incoming calls.

cheers

Mark

Re: Forward to cell phone

abslimited,
I read just today and tested this... works great for me.

Create a new extension using the device Other (custom). Then use the dial line but you have to specify the trunk. In my case: zap/g0/
# (make sure to end with a #)

Hope that works for you too!

forwarding your extension to a mobile phone

If you are using a cisco phone (at least 7940 and higher) there is a preprogrammed soft button [CFwdALL] to forward all incoming calls on that extension to any number you would like. It is INCREDIBLY easy to use and to cancel as well. As both a user and someone who doesnt want all of my employees messing with control panels and code, this is a VERY easy solution and keeps it simple....

Hope that helps
