Having an Extension handling multiple calls

Hi !

I've got an Extension configured (1000) which can receive and place calls. This Extension is a small Fritz!Box with integrated SIP-Server which has several SIP-Phones registered to it. Now the problem is that if a call on FreePBX comes in, it gets connected to this extension but the next call gets rejected by FreePBX because this extension is already having a call active.

I can activate "Call Waiting" and than there is a "beep-beep" in the line but what I want is that FreePBX simply routes the second call through and does no "management" because that will already do the Fritz!Box which would use the next available SIP-Phone connected to the Fritz!Box when a second call comes in.

I hope you understand what I mean, if not please tell.

Is there a way to have a "dumb" extension which gets every call even if it is already "active" ?

Thanks alot.

Queue

You can set up a queue in which all calls for extension 1000 goes into. Then callers can have a announcement and be put on hold. After you finish your call the next call will be connected. There are many other options in there to.

Fritz!Box as SIP server?

Of topic:
Which Fritzbox do you have, and which firmware?
I never could find SIP server functionality in my Fritz Fon ATA
