Question about configuration

Dear All,
Hi....I am a beginner. I bought x100p and connect it to patch panel, how you make a call from soft phone such as X-Lite to telephone. For example, I have a extension as 469. Thus, How to use soft phone to call this number?
In addition, how to define this method by the trixbox's interface?
