Johnny In the Voip world CHEAP is not GOOD

The best in my book (USA) is Connect.voicepulse.com second is Vitelity
all the other are second rate... fly by night companies.
IMHO........

Re: Recommended VoIP Providers.

I have been using vitelity for about 6 months and have had good quality and good service so far. I highly recommend them. They are also not expensive. I have a les.net line and it works fine so far, about 2 months.

For reliable Business class VOIP and data service I strongly recommend that folks check out CBeyond. Their SIPConnect service works flawlessly with Trixbox from my experience so far.

I agree with Bubba! I have had Vitelity for a year with 8 - 9 DID's. They are great with the SIP trunks.

Re: Recommended VoIP Providers.

I agree with vhedges. We have trunks set up with Voipjet, Voicepulse, and FWD for cost savings on outbound long distance but nothing compares to our fallback which is Cbeyond's sipconnect. No other 3rd party service will come close to comparing in uptime, reliability, and call clarity. We've had zero downtime with voice service even when data service was experiencing issues. It's not available everywhere and Cbeyond as a company is not perfect but they are by far the closest thing to normal telephone service you can get in the VOIP world. Before you have sticker shock their voice service is bundled with a T1 line. We find their per minute pricing high but you get what you pay for sometimes. You can always do what we do and use a pay by the minute service for outbound long distance.

Re: Recommended VoIP Providers.

I agree with Bubba on Voicepulse Connect! and Vitelity. I have both and am very happy. I give VP Connect! a little leg up over Vitelity.

I'm also using the Viatalk business service, VTWhite. They are very good so far. The only fly in the ointment with VTWhite is that you must have a static IP address for it to work correctly on inbound calls. I am behind a router so it did not work for me on the incoming side. It is an excellent quality pay-as-you go service for outbound calling with free calls to toll-free numbers. Per minute rates are higher than VP Connect and Vitelity but the voice quality is excellent.

Re: Recommended VoIP Providers.

I got an vtwhite account but they are not able to give me any hints on how to configure the trunk so I am not using it. Can you share your config info please. This will go a long way to evaluate.

I am using vitelity fine for the last 3 months, I have an account on les.net as well and vtwhite.

Int'l Long Distance if iffy with vitelity sometimes sinec they have a 2 tier pricing scheme. diall 011 and you get thru most of time. for a penny or two extra per min dial with a 022 and it goes thru

If you want "all you can

If you want "all you can eat" (unlimited) trunks at fair prices, try http://www.premiervoice.net They even have all you can eat 800 (toll free) DID's !!!!

They have had some small reliablility problems before, but they have just replaced a boatload of equipment about 6 months ago and I've never had a problem with them since.

I use this company for a small pbxtra install I did a while back for a small company.

How about providers outside

How about providers outside of the US? Any experiences there? I have been using WX3 before, but they had issues with DTMF so I abandoned them. Now I'm using Telavox and Rixelecom with few problems.... useful for you who operate in Scandinavia OR want to have local presence here....

So which one is the Best?

Good Evening Everyone

So which provider is the best one to go with? I called Vitelity and looked at there website, which looks pretty good. Seems like they have a pretty stable backbone. However I there support is from 9am-7pm. This is not really a problem unless there is a service outage. I am currently using voicepulse for termination service and it has been %100 for the past 3 months. I just started to look at voipstreet.com!

I am currently using VTwhite For origination service and it has been one roller coaster. There service is up and down at least twice a week. Also for some reason my DID's just stop working and i get dead air when you call them. I have to go into there website and resubmit my NODE. It's very strange! I have a public IP address and have no other problems with any other service providers. So in other words BEAWARE

I have a customer who is a travel agent and they really depend on there phones. Cost is not as much of a factor as support and reliability is!

Let me know what you guys think

Looking for best quality provider for Asia

After playing around with many many voip providers over the world, what we want to find are some providers with stable, clear sould quality for asia destinations.

We have talked to many our customers and what they think most importantly is: quality, second is stability, third is the price.

Hence we would be quite interested to switch all our current customer pools to you if you could provide us best call quality for asia destinations.
