Howdy

When recieving VM messages to my email box it say's it's being mailed from vm@asterisk. Is there a way to change that. Our exchange server has a pretty strong Junk filter and I can't tell the system that this is an exceptable email because it needs a .com or something.

Any Ideas?

I tried

EDIT: I actually fix it by changing the voicemail.conf file. I dont' know if you have to change both but I changed the "who the voicemail appears to be from" in both and it worked.

Thanks for the input

I chaned that before I posted and it still comes to my exchange server like it's from vm@asterisk so I am still kind of confused. I thought there might be another place I have to change. I rebooted my system after just in case it did not take and even though I changed it, it still is not working like I expected.

Glad you got it working.

Ha I may or may not have done that. I don't remember... It was one of those nights of messing with my tb's after downing a few too many beers. Oddly enough I function quite well that way. Problem is the next day I don't remember what I did... Oh well... glad you got it working.
