Looking for unlimited Inbound Service + DID
I am looking to get a DID for my home business. Someone in another thread recommended Vitelity. I went to their website and saw that they have a plan for unlimited inbound for $7.95. That sounds pretty good to me. However, I am unable to reach Vitelity either by phone (on hold forever) or email (they never reply).
So, I am wondering if anyone can recommend a similar service by another provider.
Thanks in advance.
visit les.net, broadvoice.com, voipstreet.com. Actually, with vitelity everything suppose to automatic online. I mean pay-configure-go. I never have to call or email them for any thing because it has always work me. I use more than 8 providers on my system. Overall, vitelity and broadvoice are on top role. les.net is good but the guy is currently upgrading his system which look more promising. Be warn that a lot of people seems to have promblem with broadvoice because of lack of support of trixbox.
Thanks for the replies. I had a couple of questions that's why I wanted to talk to someone at Vitelity. I was able to speak to a person in sales at Vitelity this week. One thing he told me, which i thought was kinda strange, he said that the unlimited plan actually caps off at 4000 min. I just thought if that's the case it shouldn't be called "unlimited".
Anyway, I've also looked at the services that you guys suggested, Callcentric seems to have a good plan for unlimited inbound. I'll look more into that. As for Les.net. I read on another forum that people were having terrible experiences with them. However these posts were a bit old.
Right now I think I am most inclined to go with Callwithus. Anyone had any experiences with them? Prices and features on some of their DID suits my current situation quite well. However, they impressed me most on one thing: I wrote an email to them and received an reply in less than an hour. Please let me know if anyone of you had any bad experinces with them
Anyways, thanks for all the recommendations.

You don't say where you are located. But I have had great luck with the people at IP Communications. www.ipcomms.net. About $20.00 per talk path with any number of DIDs.

I am actually pretty new at this, so I am just learning as I go. For ping times and hops, I assume I just need to find their SIP server (such as sip.callwithus.com) and run ping and tracert on the command prompt. But what is a good ping time and acceptable hops?
I have been very happy with Voicepulse, where all inbound calls are free. Recently I was impressed when tech support called me back, though they could have left everything to email.
here is what I use with my asterisk system:

Since you are also using this for a home office, I am interested in your setup. You have 5 different DID, how many channels do you have per DID? If several people call the same number at the same time what happens? Which Vitelity plan/service do you use and how much does it cost per month? Thanks.
9 DIDs have been down for 3 hole days this month. Usually they are top notch.....
"Tuesday April 29th 2008, 11:23am CDT - One of our carriers is currently experiencing issues causing random BUSY signals on inbound calls. We are aware of this issue and are working with them to have service restored as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience."
Third time this month. My beef with Vitelity is they charge for failover when it is their network issue that is the problem.
Hope they level off soon.
I have been using inphonex.com for about a year and have been very pleased with the service.
I think I pay 7.95 per DID for unlimited incoming. Outgoing is 2c per minute I believe but they also have unlimited business plans available as well.
Check them out at www.inphonex.com
