cisco 7940 conference doesn't work after g729

I'm running 2.6.1 and after setting my 7940s to g729 conference does not compleat the call to the 3rd person. it worked before, has anyone seen this?

Did you load the g.729

Ya, all other functions work

Ya, all other functions work fine, inbound outbound, its just if you hit conference on the phone it doesnt connect to the 3rd party "1st call is on hold you dial the number and when the 3rd partys call fails you can pickup the 1st caller again"

cisco 7940 All Cisco and G729 Codec - Note

As Per Cisco - the G729 codec will work with Cisco products but the phones themselves only can support "1" Open channel at a time when using the G729 codec (Lic. cost on cisco's behalf).

We Set you Codec on the phone to use ALaw or ULaw and use G729 for Trunks between switches and what not.

If using the G729 (on Cisco Phones) you can only have one active line at a time, any additional call streams will have no sound :(
