Showing other lines in use?

Hi All!

I am currently running Trixbox CE, with 3 extensions (Linksys SPA942). Each phone has it's own SIP account (and 4 displayable lines).

At the moment, I can't tell if the other extensions are in use... (eg, I can only see my own). Is there any way to set it up so that the other extensions will show when in use? (Like in a traditional phone system)?

If this is possible, are there any limitations? (eg, I might want to have a receptionist with a different phone that displays 15-20 lines at a time?).

Any help appreciated!

You can do it with the

You can do it with the Linksys SPA962 when using the SPA932 sidecar but you cannot do it with the SPA942 phones.

Thanks for the quick reply. Can you suggest any other SIP phones that will do it without the additional side panel? Something comparable or better than the SPA942s?

Not very familiar with the 942's. The Snom's are very easy to setup with BLF (Busy Lamp Field) and DSS (Direct Station Signaling).

Aastra, Polycom (some models) and Grandstream can also. I am sure I a forgetting a few.
