Snom Mass Deployment

I am after some information and experience about mass deployment or auto provisioning of Snom phones. I have some 320's and 370's.

Snom's website has a fair bit about this but there is a new version 7 which uses a new XML format which does not seem to be used by the Trixbox endpoint manager. Has anyone used the new format? Has anyone used the old (seemingly current to Trixbox) format with the latest firmware installed on Snom phones? Is there a plan for Trixbox to use the new format?

I have done a test auto provision with version 2.6 of Trixbox and a spare Snom 320 running firmware 6.5.2 and it seems to work ok. I'm not using the DHCP option but set the provisioning server manually on the phone. In the tftpboot directory there is a snom.cnf file. However, there are also other files which do the same job such as snom320.htm. I have successfully provisioned by pointing a phone to snom320.htm and let the snom-MAC.htm file do its stuff automatically. Is the snom.cnf file redundant?
