Thomson SpeedTouch 2030

Any hints on how to manage these phones through endpoint manager? I bought several of these phones for the office from these guys at Trix Networks. The phones are living up to its name, but I would like the phones to pull the configuration from our trixbox.

I second this one. Very satisfied with the Phones, but easier managemenet would be ace.

Can you explain to me what exactly you are looking to do? Such as just basic APS config, but you still have to pick extension, or automatic extension assignment from available preset pool, or automatically build a new extension, etc.

I work with these phones and would also like such a feature, and am thinking of building it. But I want to make sure it will work well for others too.

Hi,

did you do any further advance in ST2022/2030 provisioning? I'm going to deploy a system with 30 of that phones, and the only way I know is by creating a .txt file for each phone.

Also, I'm going to start a new thread, but do you know how to show in the LCD screen the Asterisk extension name? I mean, in freepbx I create extension 1001, with name "Extension 1". How do I make "Extension 1" appear in the LCD screen without having to set it by hand in each .txt file?
