TrixBox 'Smart' Auto-Peering within the Same LAN Anybody? :)

I've been seriously thinking about this idea -

You install a second TrixBox server at a client location, imagine if the new box could detect that there was a pre-existing TrixBox (we'll call it the master pbx) on the same LAN, and at that point ask if you would like to automatically configure the new box to share extension/outbound dialplans with the 'Master' server... i assume everybody sees where i'm going with this. We can detect IP phones in the endpoint mgr, so who's to say we can't figure a way to detect the existence of another trixbox machine within the same local subnet? I've been thinking about that for a little while now.

Would be willing to help code this if anybody else is interested in chipping in some code here and there.
