URL-Call

Hi everybody.

Here is what I would like: :)
User calls extension nn
extension nn executes an AGI-script
the AGI-script calls an external URL and returns the output from that URL

The extension nn then sends the output back to the user.

Is this at all possible??

this is like the weather script, that is an agi , that polls a webpage for data , then feeds the data into a text file and has festival read the output.
