AEX800 and TE121...won't load on trixbox

I have been trying to install trixbox with these 2 cards for the last 3 days....I think I have performed a fresh trixbox install....20, 30 times? I'm an expert now!. Can't make them work. Zaptel won't work, when running the genzaptelconf I get this:
[trixbox1.localdomain ~]# genzaptelconf
Notice: Configuration file is /etc/zaptel.conf
line 0: Unable to open master device '/dev/zap/ctl'
I have read and it seems there are several bugs with zaptel modules and trixbox. Needless to say I'm not a linux person, but having read a lot of posts..seems like there is not definitive fix for this problem......
I have tried about 5 aproaches...none works.
When I boot trixbox I get the red error loading zaptel modules...i have installed zaptel 200 times...nothing works....
I'm using an HP DL360 server with 2 PCI Express slots......
Any help with this will be greatly appreciated!!!

Please....help.
I just did a fresh install......no cards inserted. Got the same error....the "zaptel module not found" on bootup......I did:
yum clean all
yum install zaptel*
istalled all packages fine....no errors
rebooted...same problem
About to loose it here..PLEASE HELP.
