Cannot configure hudlite in trixbox 2.6

Hello -
I just configured Trix CE 2.6.0.0. I found a couple of tutorials online on how I should go about setting up the hud server. The problem I am running into is that while I see the "HUD Server" as green and running in the Server Status interface, I do not see a drop-down item for asterisks for Hudlite. I thought this might be because I didn't have the following package installed:
tbm-hudadmin
I do have this packages installed:
hudlite-server
As soon as I installed the tbm-hudadmin package, I noticed that the hudlite drop-down option wasn't available so I went to System to reboot the box. AS soon as I did, I received all sorts of errors stating that (for example) PHP MyAdmin wasn't installed, System Maint was not installed, etc. So, I uninstalled the tbm-hudadmin package and at least the System menu and options were fixed after a small heart-attack.
So, I am back at square one. Anyone else run into this? Is there a way I can get the hudlite server running by editing some config files directly or do I need to use the GUI?
