Are there any plans to integrate HUD with entourage 2008?

We will base this decision on the general marketshare of MAC and the specific marketshare of entourage on the MAC. So in short the answer is: we are watching carefully for a good Mac contact software to integrate HUD with, but have not made a decision yet.

Simple Solution

With a recent report pegging the Mac's market share as having now risen to 20% in the U.S. and seeing that Apple's 'Address Book' is included with every Mac sold and that MS Entourage and several other Mac contacts apps now synchronise with Apple's Address Book format in the background, I would have thought the solution was fairly obvious.

Integrate HUD with Apple's underlying data structure for Address Book and you cover not only Address Book users but also Entourage users and a number of other Mac contacts managers in one fell swoop. There's probably 80% of the Mac contact manager market right there.

I suspect the delay is more a case of not have enough programming resources.
