Linking Trixbox Servers
We have a client with 3 locations and want to deploy a trixbox pro standard at each location. I have seen the Options > Link Server part of the control panel. How do we enable it so that the other servers are available to be linked? Also using Trixbox pro standard edition will the customer be able to transfer calls between locations? What features will be available?
You have to purchase it for each location. You have to make sure the extension numbers are different at each location and then you can call and transfer calls by extension. With Standard Edition that's about it. With Enterprise Edition you can see everyone on both servers using HUD (in HUD3), and in Call Center Edition you can have agents distributed across locations.
Current pricing for all trixbox Pro software solutions are available here:

> Linked Servers
> * Enterprise Edition: $31.99 per/mo per server or $749.99 lifetime per server.
> * Call Center Edition: $59.99 per/mo per server or $1499.99 lifetime per server.
I would appreciate it if you would be more specific. When I go to the trixbox pro web control panel and select the servers to link i would select the other 2 servers so that would be 2 servers i am linking to the original. At the interface I would be literally linking 2 servers to tjhe main. As these are "Branch office connectors" you would gather the literal interpretation to mean that you would need connectors for the branch offices. There are 2 branch office and 1 main office. This is becoming a lot more difficult than it should be so would someone that knows please tell me if I would need 2 (two) or 3 (three) connectors?
