Boomerang/Forward

Problem - When i set someone's ext up to forward whether using boomerang or not, when someone calls all they get is a dialtone.

My system currently will not allow any ext forwarding to an external number. I use a PRI.

Any help? My people are in sales and having this feature was a really important part of purchasing this system.

Anyone?? When I dial the ext from internal it forwards just fine, when someone dials the DID or ext through the AA, they hear dial tone??

Are you forwarding the caller ID number or are you setting it to your BTN or some other DID on your PRI? My reason for asking is I have recently seen new PRI installations not allowing calls to progress if the number does not match one owned by the customer.
