calling using a Sangoma analog card A200

We have not setup a VOIP provider as yet and I'm trying to use a Sangoma A200 card for setting up trixbox and a Asstra 57i CT phone. I can get a dial tone but any number I dial is busy. When I can try to make a phone call the trixbox still shows the phone line as idle. How do I tell the trixbox to use the phone line and not a VOIP?

The 57i probably needs two things to work with tB pro, a custom dial plan for the phone (not the server), and the most recent firmware. We had the same issue with the 53i until we figured out what was going on. After you load the most recent firmware, update the phone cfg file with this dial plan "0|*5X|*1|*3|*7[4-5][1-8]XXX|*86[1-8]XXX|911|9911|9411|9611|[1-8]XXX|900X|9[2-9]XXXXXXXXX|91[2-9]XXXXXXXXX|9011X+#|XX+#" and chattr +i the file - this way it wont get overwritten the next time you make a change to the phone configuration or dial plan on the server. Warning - you will need to chattr -i and manually modify the cfg file whenever needed.

Hey Robert,
In looking at your system, I found that your Cards page was configured for "Group 1". However, your Options -> Dial Plans page was not configured to use your card. You can solve this problem on your own by going to the Options-> dial plans page and clicking on each dialplan and selecting "Analog Lines" as your primary outbound route.
I made this change to your local dialplan only, for your reference.

I believe the phone local

I believe the phone local dialplan is only used when the phone is off hook so if you dial first then go offhook the phone should just dial regardless of the dialplan on it. That's one way to eliminate the possibility of it being an issues with the phones local dialplan.

PowerOn - we thought so too, but we did have some 53i's that would not dial AT ALL with an older firmware and a faulty dial plan - no matter what you did the call would fail and play the busy tone. Once we updated the firmware the faulty dial plan was essentially ignored and calls would go through but you would have to either wait for the digit map timeout or press the dial button. With the newest firmware and the dial plan I posted this phone should work as well as the older aastras with tB Pro, as long as your server dial plans are set correctly.
