Does anyone know where trixbox pro goes to register?
Thanks for the reply Kerry. In my firewall, I need to set a static route based on source/destination address and than assign policies based on the allowable traffic in/out (which I have done). I do this similarly for my email traffic as I have a dual WAN firewall/router and want to make sure my voice traffic all goes out over my SLA's WAN 2 interface.
The issue I have is I have a non-SLAd Comcast business line for my http traffic and presently my trixbox want to go out that interface (WAN1) to setup its dynamic DNS with fonality. I need to force all my trixbox traffic out WAN2 and the only way to do that (with my box) is to have the destination address. Any ideas?
Please let me know.
Thanks.
You are on the right track beaudettee. I have been beating my head against the wall to extol the virtues of downstream destination based routing.
It is amazing the contortions that folks go through with multiple interfaces on the trix box and iptables so they can use the trix box as a gateway.
I have never gotten it, even for the smallest of offices I can buy a Pix 501 on eBay for $125.00. Makes my lie a lot easier.

So I have a new policy route setup to force all traffic from the trixbox pro out my WAN2 interface and have a Virtual IP for inbound traffic (external static IP to internal ip/box).
I have UDP Ports 9710-65000 and 5060 open to the box (from external) and all open outbound.
When I do a ping to my sXXXXXXx.trixbox.fonality.com address I am still getting my old external address. I have rebooted the box in an effort for it to recommunicate with the mother ship and reset dynamic dns entries to point to the new external address but no luck.
Any ideas how to force the fonality DNS servers to reset to the new address (TTL) or how long it takes for them? My box is now unreachable by the web admin.
Thanks.
